John Wardle architects recently worked with Jacky Winter’s Clever Like a Monkey and concept artist Greg Petchkovsky to help them realise this ‘Beautiful Interior Cake’ celebrating 100 issues of Monument magazine. Not just any cream sponge, this baked treat features a cantilevered structure to distort the ground plan, a strategic viewing hole to monitor progress, and a heavily patterned iced interior.
